I cut some wires here. Added some wires there.
Ok, so I guess the only thing left is the remote. I found a few on Amazon and Ebay but could you recommend the one you used? Definitely like that better than a switch in the bed.

I LOVE having the remote. Don't have to worry about getting into truck to flip a switch or mess with a switch in the bed. I get my remotes from vminnovations on EBAY. They are an awesome company.

Looks like they are out of them but I will email them real quick to see when they will get more. He told me they sell FAST!!!

    Heres the link.

I'll let you know when they email me back. Those remotes are priceless. The 2 that I have for my neon kit under my truck have been working flawlessly since 2007.

I have one on my keyring and I mounted the other one with a piece of double stick tape right by my toggles.

    Here's a pic:

The headrest monitors have 2 video "IN" so you can plug any RCA's into it. My daughter can plug her Itouch into it and watch whatever she wants or the portable dvd player that she has.

The 1st "video in" has my head unit plugged into it so the kids can watch what I have on up front or they can plug whatever they want into the 2nd "video in" and push the "SOURCE" button on the monitor to video 2 and watch what they want.

Works kickass! The Playstation in my glove box is plugged into the head unit but I have a 2nd set of cords for it so it can plug into either rear monitor also. Then with the wireless controller they can play my PS2

Forgive me being a total n00b, but in these diagrams, where would the switch go? I am guessing anywhere between the 12+ and the first batch of splices.

Also, THANKS so much for doing this write up.

Also....did you get power source from somewhere in teh cabin (like dome light or something) or did you run power from a fuse/battery location. I may have missed it in your 7 pages of being awesome.

Is there a "blow you" smiley?

NO!!! It's ridiculous easy. I think i explained it in this thread but can't remember. When you pull cup holder out (mines a 6 speed manual) there are 2 screws. Take them out. Then open console lid and remove everything. Use a tiny flathead screwdriver and put it down the side of that carpeted liner thingy in the console and pull it up. There are 2 10mm bolts under there. Remove those and BAMM.....all good.
