UMass Amherst Car Show. YOU'RE INVITED!

Hey everyone, I haven't been terribly active on here recently but here's proff I haven't forgotten the TacomaWorld....world!

It'd be awesome to see some nice Tacomas and whatever other vehicles you may have out at the event. See below for the complete information. Feel free to ask me any questions or contact those below. Thanks and hope to see some of you there!

The 6th Annual UMass Motorsport Car Show sponsored by Bertera Auto will be held on April 21st, 2012. It will be held in UMass Lot 33, the same location as the previous year’s show. Directions and sponsorship information can be found on the website http://www.UMassCarShow.com. This will be a family friendly event with something for everyone! Bring the kids for a day of great family fun. Food will be provided by BabyBerk, the UMass food truck, and as always spectators are free!

This year a portion of the proceeds made from this event will benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of Hampshire County (Big Brothers Big Sisters of Hampshire County - CHD), please come and support this great cause!

Anyone thinking about this? Bring your Tacoma, Lamborghini or Volvo; everything is welcome! Feel free to come hang out and check out the rides or bring your car for $10. I know we'll have at least a few Tundras there so make sure you aren't underrepresented!

 

Hey everyone, just wanted to give this a bump since the show is coming up fast! Please come out so we can meet some of the fellow forum members and talk trucks! It's shaping up to be a huge event with some sponsors sending full tractor trailers of cars including a fabled "million dollar car"

I'd love to see everyone there and see some of the awesome rides people have been working on around here and maybe arrange some wheeling trips for those of us who can stand a scratch here and there

Well every single car at UMass got a business card on it about the show last night so if they have a car there, I'm sure they know about it

Some of the guys from TundraSolutions have thrown around meeting up in town and rolling in as a group. If anyone is interested, I'll give the details here and we can all convoy there!

I'd be down. I might be driving up to bar harbor to go mountain biking that weekend though... still not sure.

woah... he has a sweet truck! i love those older tundras.

 

Might go to this with the taco but I'll be hauling my other toys since the truck is still grossly stock.

 

What plans do you have for the truck??

 

What ever I can afford after spending money on the two wheel toys, which isn't much but I'll get around to building a nice truck like many of you guys.

Probably go with weathertechs, koenig countersteers (not sure what tire to go with yet), some sort of exhaust and intake. This is my first truck that isn't a complete POS so I'm still learning a lot of stuff too, so if you're at the show I'll be sure to check out your mods (and others) and take many notes

 

MY mods? pshh, child's play but there will certainly be others with some good stuff!

 

I'm thinking about making my way down for this if we can get some other Tacos...don't wanna be there all by my lonesome!

 

Well then keep hyping it up! There are tentative plans to meet up at a nearby mall at around 9:30 and then the Toyota Truck convoy will roll in together!
