I'm a new guy here and thought I would share what I have been working on. If any of you have a Scangauge you may appreciate the work.

    First stages in truck:

    Out of Truck:

Removing texture from dash kit and filler primer:

    Primed almost ready for paint:

The airbag light is still behind the scangauge so there wont be any issues with not having the light in the truck. The only tweak i need to make is to move the hazard switch forward a little bit to better fill the gap. Sorry no pics of taking apart the clock/airbag light.

Its a combo of kitty hair (short strand body filler) and bondo. All molded to a metra aftermarket dash kit.

Im pretty sure the radio sits to high up for it to look good. It could be done but may not look quite as "factory".

Do you guys think i should paint the scangauge to match the dash or leave it black? I was also thinking about painting it all gloss black kind of like the 2012 dash.

Looks like the faceplate is a little thick now, but aside from that, I definitely like! Perfect that just slightly and I'd pay you to fab me one! Maybe others would too?

How did you mount the ScanGauge inside?

The kit is no thicker than before, I actually sanded off all the texture and used filler primer to fill in the scratches. The ScanGauge is pressure fit in its housing so it can easily be removed for upgrades or using on a diff vehicle. The only thing i need now is some kind of cat5 coupler to make taking it in and out even easier.
