i have an 07 with the v6, and I'm looking to buy one of these. anyone with one of these mufflers, let me know how you like it, or if you have general knowledge about more than one, please give me any insight as to what the differences are. i am looking for loud outside the truck. i don't mind interior noise, unless it's so loud i can't hear the stereo.

    getting there....

glad to hear you are interested in a flowmaster......they sound hella awesome on our v6!! i have an original 40(i had dual exhaust-flow 40 single in/dual out.....swapped out to a flow 40 single in/out).......and i friggin love it. awesome rumble outside, and you can hear it inside a bit, but not bad at all. when you are idling, you can hear it rumbling, but on the interstate, its pretty tame till you get into the throttle, then is sweet sounding.

the super 40 is a delta flow mufler i believe, meaning not too loud inside and good sound outside, and the super 44 is the loudest one flowmaster has, and it sounds really good, but for me..........the original 40 was definitely the way to go, just my .02!!:)
