Replace spindles with factory ones. Remount diff. It's a project but more than doable on a weekend if you fabricate well

    yup, I did mine.

    - get factory spindles if you are 4wd. 2wd you can run aftermarks spindles, just not the procomp ones.
    - the diff does have to be remounted using the factory mounts (the front of the dif..they're 2 arm looking things). Now when I had 4 wheel parts install the lift, they only gave me one of the two mounts back. Who knows what they did with the other. I had to order a new one from toyota which I think came out to like $160..it was a very necessary mount.

I'll never get to see the 6" lifted truck then Dave!? What is your reasoning for getting rid of it?

I just saw your post while doin research on what type of lift and wheel tire combo to do on mine. Please tell me how you liked your pro comp 6" lift with 33s.

Not sure if this was to someone else but I'll throw my 2 cents in, love the height and look of the 6" lift. I run 35's on mine and quite honestly without quite a bit of cutting and such they really dont fit. I am either going to 34's (which will still require some cutting) or going to take the whole lift out and go long travel....tough decisions

I'm leaning toward a 6 inch lift but have been talked out of running 35s by many saying I'd need to regear since I'd loose lots of power and Gas milage. What say you?

What gears do you have in yours now? My opinion will be scewed because of the supercharger, I have PLENTY of power and gas mileage with everything considered is about 13.
