i have pretty much decided to follow this advise cause i cant get good power out of the smaller area so i am looking into getting two 10's instead of the one 13. Does anyone have any negative sides to these subs i have heard them and they sound really good !!!!! Give me input on them if you have any

You dont have to use the flat subs. PR or M1 will fit and are cheaper.

Bilstein 5100s @ 1.75 with 1.5 AAL, Satoshi Grill Mod with 2 Hella 500s behind the grill, LED dome and map lights, custom made (by me) 10" subwoofer box behind the dbl cab seat, DVD/iPod/Bluetooth/GPS/TV/USB/Stereo, Yakima rack, Shell, tinted front windows to match the factory backs. Backup cam in the tailgate handle mod.
When you decide to upgrade let me know I'll take that box! Nice work!

im looking at the shallows because of the required air space, they only need .35 per sub

The amp I am using is the jl 600/1 xd which is a small enough amp to go under the driver seat

OP if you dont have stuff to put in the bins you will have more then enough air space for 2 10" subs I have almost 6 of depth and with a full width box it will be much easier to blend it in. I was also worried that anything I put in the bins would rattle anyway.

    Just my .02
And im guessing you found out that the difference between the subs you listed was the MR is the newer version?

I really like the filler cap, can you give me a rough idea of how you built it? I'm putting a box/amp rack on the passenger side and leaving the driver side bin in place but wanted a more finished look like yours.

I made a template out of cardboard so I could see where the seat latches are and length, used some 1/8 wood I had already laying around. Cut out that shape, used some 1/4 round molding for the top. I did cut a groove into the face of the mouling to get the 1/8 panel to sit flush afer glued and stapled it together. Then with some 1 X 1/2 scraps I used that as the bottom leaving just a little room for carpet. Drilled a hole on each side in the molding to fit the studs that come out the back of the back glass.
Carperted and atached. If I did it again I would scew in the clips from the front to the back to atach where the bins clip in to the back wall. But even with the bass pounding it doesnt rattle so will wait till I build a ported box and move my amps to under the back seat before I redo it.

If you want more info PM me.

Hey OP how is your set up coming???? Any pics????
