Just got my new decals cut and put on my truck.

Yes, I know all of you will say I am ripping off sockmonkey but I'm not trying to sell these and when I asked him if he would make them he said 'no custom designs' so I was left to fend for myself.

if he wont create a custom design for you, how are you ripping him off?
I made my own for my truck, but my design is completely my own. I didn't rip anyone off, except maybe toyota. I took their bedside decal, and redesigned it for a transformers look.

Saying you're ripping him off is like doing your own Satoshi build, and saying you ripped off homertaco. Just because someone makes a product, doesnt mean you can't DIY.

I saw another thread where someone posted pics of a decal they were working on and everyone gave them shot because sockmonkey made one similar but not exactly like it. He wouldnt modify it so the guy did it himself and caught all kinds of crap. Either way, I like mine.

If we are thinking of the same thread, that guy downloaded one of socks exact designs from socks website, changed the colors in msPaint, and then said he was going to start selling them. Very different than making your own unique decal design for your personal use, as you have done.

Basically just took a picture of the old one, drew it in ms paint, added volcom stone and sent to a buddie with a vinyl cutter. Getting the old decal off was the hardest part.
