    Tacoma is stock and staying that way, Pickup is TBA as of now.
    I don't see how this could work, truck drivers just can't stop hauling for this, they will be topping off that day and diesel is over $4 a gallon in most places.

    It doesn't work. A one day fluctuation in use won't matter one bit. Plus they'll just sell what they would have sold that day on the night before. The only way to bring the price down is to use less.

    It's the same situation with the "boycott a particular station" plan. All the other stations see heavier use so they hike up their prices. Plus it's all from the same refineries. The big oil companies see no fluctuation in demand (hence no difference in profits). The only one hurt by it is the local gas station owner.
