i have an 09 that already had the led part but i really felt like a smoked lense would rock on a black truck. so i finally got them installed. also did the 3rd brake light
they have a few more led lights than the stockers did and i think they look pretty cool

yes here is another one with the lights on, sorry my iphone doesnt take the best pics. also you will see that they dont really look smoke in some light conditions. in this pic the light is shining directly at them in the garage so they look more clear. but the first pic i took is a lot more accurate of how they actually look.
if you wanted them a little darker i think some 30% tint film might make them look black. i suspect this is as dark as what would be legal. i got pulled over yesterday not for the lights but because the dirt bikes in the back were blocking the temp tag and the cop couldnt see it. she didnt say anything about the lights but i did notice she tapped the left rear tail light as she walked by it.

those look good man. I am thinking of doing the exact same with the ass end. Since I have an 09 Sport it came with the OEM "Smoked" heads, these tails will go nice with them. I'm actually changing the headlights to the ebay style crystal smoked style, because I hate the orange sections of the OEM's

Were they pretty easy to swap out? I also have an 09 that I want to do this to because of the bright chrome circle of the stock lights.

those LED sides, they work okay? I mean are they bright? I bought somewhat similar ones from Pep Boys and put them up front, they look shitty, they don't even have much of a glow to them at all.

Just an update....I removed these from my 09 Prerunner and put them on my 12 Sport 4x4. All LEDs still work, no leaks, no faxing, all in all they have held up GREAT!
