Here is a picture of three of the four button blanks on the left dash of my 2007 TRD Sport. I know these blanks are for options that the Off Road would have that the Sport does not, but if the Sport doesn't have the options, why the wiring harnesses? I assume the button blank without the wiring harness is the location of the locking diff. button on the Off Road, but what about the other buttons with the wiring harnesses? Are the wiring harnesses actually functional in the Sport; in otherwords, does it just take the switch (button) to make those options work? Sounds pretty unreasonable to me, but just wanted to see if anyone knew for sure?

In order from left to right, top to bottom:
Fog Lights; Rear Diff Lock; Power Outlet main switch
"VSC OFF" ; "DAC" switch; Roll sensing of curtain shield airbags off switch.

    VSC: Vehicle Stability Control
    DAC: Downhill assist control

Has anyone used the harnesses behind their switch blanks for anything other than what they were intended for? ie. aux lights?
