Rear view mirror dropping

Not to long ago I put 2 MTX 10's in my truck, they sound great but I have a problem with my rear view mirror facing down after the bass hits. Anyone else have this problem and come up with a solution for it?

 

I wanna see pics of that system lol. You could glue the mirror in position.

 

I would do as some of the above suggested, try making the 'ball' of the knuckle a little bigger with some thin glue.... otherwise, thats the price you pay when you get heavy bass, shit will fall apart... LoL

 

Ill probably try to put some glue on it. Ill put a picture and video up of it in a few minutes.

 

I would love to see pics of this. I've been messing with my system this week. Added an amp for the main speakers, and have been tweaking and tuning the sub amp. I've actually found the best "bang for the buck" tuning I did was remove a bunch of stuffing from my sub box. Smoothed out the sound, made it less peaky.

Two tens rattling the truck is awesome, I'd love to see your setup.

 

those are the subwoofers I dont know much about them other then they are mtx 10's i bought them from a friend with the box and an amp for 150 and eventually got a better sounding amp

IMO, that's pretty cool. They look like MTX Thunder 9000 subs, can't tell what the amp is. Best suggestion is, as said, make the pivot ball bigger by putting some superglue or epoxy on it, should prevent the slipping. I would say though, enjoy, you've got a pretty sweet setup.
