Enkei Performance ST6

anyone rockin these rims? planning to buy a set.. i just wanna see how it looks on the truck.. pix if u got any

 

Tire Rack carries this wheel, so you can use their web tool to see how it looks on your truck. I only know this because I'm about to order a set of these myself

 

not sure if these are the same but they look like it. but my cousin had them on his 1st gen

 

I think those are Enkei's Rt6, not the St6.
The Rt6's have 2 bolt heads where the Spokes meet the Rim.
Nice lookin' Wheels as well, but I read a couple reviews stating they wobble.
Also referred to them being made overseas. FWIW

Here's a quick shot I grabbed with my phone on the way out of the shop. Sorry for the crappy composition and the dirty tires, but this should give you an idea, anyway.

As for a review, here's what I can tell you after 150km or so. They were no problem to balance at all, judging from the number of weights they used. They are also lighter than the OE alloy wheels, which you can actually feel in low speed steering. In theory, that should also affect the way the suspension deals with little stuff (less inertia), but I didn't notice any difference to speak of. But, all in all, the install was nothing, and from behind the wheel there's not much to report. Which I guess is what you'd hope for.

creemore, what size/offset did you go with?

 

They are 17s, and I went with whatever offset Tire Rack recommended. On the truck, it's obvious that they have a little more positive offset than the OE wheels. This pic doesn't show it, but the wheels are pushed out a bit. I like the effect, but I know these are pretty conservative by Tacomaworld standards

Anyone have a picture looking (back to front or front to back) along the side of the truck, showing where the wheels sit in the wheel wells?
