I had asked this question in a previous thread chain, but wanted to try and get some more input. Toyota is giving me some tube side steps with an option of black or chrome. I had one in favor of black. With my wheels being chrome I just can't decide on Which way to go. If anyone has got any pics with chrome wheels and side steps i would like to see them.
Would like to hear some more opinions.

I'm not too much of a fan of chrome, but I think the chrome steps would match better with the wheels

I'm kinda liking the rims. What do you plan on doing with your truck? Offroading I would go black. But if you're just on street, chrome. Just don't go crazy with the chrome other wise chrome is sometimes nice to have as a eye catcher.

If its the tube steps chromes nice and if you enjoy it get it! I would only get black if they were the nfab looking steps or sliders. And on a white truck it fits in pretty well.

Maybe I will just put a black one on one side, and a chrome one on th other. Then I won have to decide. Then I won't have to choose.:D

Just ordered the black tubes from Toyota.
Service manager checked and the only option for the double cab is black tube step. The regular and access cabs have options for chrome or black but not double cab.
So I guess my decision was made for me.
But after reading some of the replys to this thread I was kinda leaning that way anyway.

    Im getting there......
keep in mind the chrome variety will rust if they salt in your area from kick up from the front tires even with the flaps.

Also the black ones are pretty discrete so i don't think they would clash.. but to each their own

My dad has chrome on his tundra, no problem in scratching or anything.

I'm not a huge fan of chrome but if you intend to keep your current wheels then I'd go with chrome. But since so many people these days have black accents, you might go down that road to in the future so just try and think ahead if you know what I mean.
