To anyone whos done this, where did you buy the sockets you replaced your corner markers with, advanced and auto zone only have a dual-contact socket that has no ground prong so I have hyper blink even with regular bulbs and not leds unless I put the female tab on one of the prongs around the bulb. So right now I have fogs and headlights and my turn signals are missing until I find a socket because I don't wanna modify my housing without having the socket I'm putting in it in hand.

Ahhh I think I got it. He switched his turn signals with the running lights. First pic is headlights on (which would normally have your running lights on) Notice the corners aren't lit.

Second pic is only running lights on (now fogs)

Third pic is hazards on to show the blinkers.

00Taco disreguard my PM if what I said above is true lol :D

I want to move my turn signals into my corners and still have running lights. This can be done with a dual filiment bulb and socket. Like in Beaus write up. Then I also want to have fogs in the old blinker location but be able to control them when I want (seems like Ill just have to wire a seperate switch to them to turn on/off when I want)

could you wire the fogs separately to a switch and just run your blinkers up into the old running light housing?

NOW the new lower fog lights & instrument panel lights don't work

    Please Help
    Thanks in advance

Thats my idea. I bought a standard off road light wiring kit and im going to try to make it work. I am going to mount the switch by the shifter/cupholder. i will post pictures of this when i do it next week!

Same here. I want a light I can use on it's own that when driving into a camp ground or trail head where people are sleeping late at night I don't blind everyone, but I can still see. The parking lights as they are don't cut it.

Anybody done this with a 2000 that has the orange lenses on the turn signals? Can I buy clear lenses?

The mod you detailed is fantastic until you have to replace the bulb, then you have to remove the silicone and clean it up before re-installing. not a biggie. Is there a dual socket like the running/brake light in the rear that will fit the same housing?
I would like to install real fog lights in the place of the old turn signal and am looking for some HID fixtures that can fit the positions. Any Recommendations?
Also, there is a fuse position in the engine compartment junction box just inside the position for the left, and right head light fuse, but i cant find any diagram that lists the wires and where they are routed. Perhaps it was an accessory that didn't get installed. sure would be nice to have the wires in place already.

Does this make both parking and fog light (turn signals) and do they blink at the same time without hyperflash? Im not that electronically inclined

No. Just wire them both to the signal circuit if thats what you want.

Where is that signal circuit? Is it a wire or relay? I'm not that bright at electronically terms
