center consol mod/ other easy mods

Well I ordered my Bilstein 5100s and I needed to keep my self busy so I dont go crazy while im waiting, i also figured i look at other peoples set up enough so i guess its my turn to share. i rigged up the center consol with the factory net to hold my sunglasses cleaner, also mounted my little surefire using a bycicle pump mount (saw it on tacoma world a while ago). took a black basket from walmart and cut it to replace the net. i think it is better because i can now clip my knife on there and its sturdier. mounted my streamlight in between the drive side door and seat, it is mounted so i can charge it down there too. Also found some tool boxes at sears which fit perfectly in the back cubby holes. let me know what yall think about it, all in all the center consol cost about 20 bucks and the tool boxes are 8 bucks a piece so its a cheap and pretty easy mod.

thats one expensive flashlight you have there, yet one that will never fail you where do you run the wires to recharge it?

Those tool boxes do fit nice in the cubbys if you want to keep the cubbys in there. I just took all that cubby stuff out of the truck and now have a lot more room for things.

 

yes it is but it is def worth the money. and what i did was just run the wire along the trim and up to a cig lighter adapter, and i ran the adapter to the battery so everything i plug in stays on when the truck is off. the cig adapter is mounted in that trim next to the parking brake. im attacting pictures so you can see where i put the plug and get kind of an idea of how i did it. right now i got my flashlight, GPS, and radar detector ran on that adapter.

I have thought about taking out the cubbys but I keep talking my self in and out of it lol
