I dont want neoprene because my dog rides in the taco often and ive read their claws have been known to rip holes through them ....not to mention there way out of my price range.

I found a couple sets online and since im not familiar with either i wanted some feedback. one set was leatherette and the other is sandwich fabric. i want something durable that wont easily tear but also somewhat easy to clean if my kids spill a drink on it. Any comments or suggestions would be appreciated!

True. My wifes car is black with black leather seats and in the summer its like sitting on a frying pan in an oven. is leatherette the same as leather though?

It isn't quite as hot, but it still won't be that comfy. Ex wife had a car for a few days that had leatherette seats (in the Phoenix AZ summer sun) and it was nearly torture to sit in if we didn't let the car run for a few with the AC cranked before getting in!

I have these in the front and rear and they seem to be indestructible. I throw my tools, hunting gear, and dog in and out of my truck all the time, and these look as good as the day I installed them. Oh, and they truly are waterproof and it makes cleaning them a breeze.
