In regards to this. Don't ignore it for to long, Or you might wind up like this...

    ImageUploadedByTapatalk1333846147.532751.jpg

    Having your buddies do this...

    ImageUploadedByTapatalk1333846561.495456.jpg

And wind up with this to boot...

    ImageUploadedByTapatalk1333846668.283532.jpg

And have to use a grinder to cut it out...

    ImageUploadedByTapatalk1333846763.084205.jpg

    Ask me how I no...

But it should be fine as long as it's JUST squeaking. But check soon and change it if it's bad. It's about a hour job if it's not rusted to bad.

OP, I just learned how to do this on my neighbour's TJ. Check out YouTube for some good explanations/techniques. Just remember, some people might not work as safely as they could, so be careful.

I found this link pretty helpful: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aE9aNHFehqw&feature=related

    This one too: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mGKX6kwKvSE&feature=related

For parts, I happened to notice that Rockauto.com has a decent selection of parts for our driveshafts. Not sure of the quality, I haven't had to replace them on my 2009 access cab yet.

I would opt for a greasable joint and hit them with some grease every couple or three oil changes. That's just me though.

Glad you figured it out. It's probably dry which is why it's making noise but it didn't wear out enough to have play in it.
You should replace that one. Wether you replace them all at once is your call.

It's not hard. We replaced mine on the trail.

Easiest way without a press is some sockets and a vise.

Good luck. It can get aggravating but take your time.
