I want one. Does anyone have one? Where did you mount the speaker? What CB are you using? I don't have a CB but I plan to get one this weekend. How did you wire the speaker? Thanks for the help. :D

I actually have a jeep now. Imagine that.
i have one. I got a radioshack speaker and mounted it to one of the storage cubbys in the bed. Lots of room inside the body panels back there. No pics for you cause its hidden well. I have cheap cb radio from walmart that has a pa speaker port on it.

My CB has a PA jack. Uniden Pro520XL is what I have...

I have a PA speaker (little 12watt or something one...CB doesn't push out more than 7 watts so I figure buying something like a 50watt speaker isn't necessary if the CB can't push out more than 7) but I have yet to hook it up. I played music from my MP3 player through it...it doesn't sound good playing stereo music haha.

    Nice.

I searched but I don't know why your thread didn't come up panda.

Im thinking now Im might just go to Walmart and get a cheap set up. Thats all I really need/want.

When you guys bought the speakers, did the come with everything you needed like wires and what not? Im not really "electrical savy" and I would rather not have to solder anything.

oh and all together i had about 14 feet of cord and it was almost just long enough

everything is held on by really thick wire and no drilling needed

How many watts is your speaker?

And when you connected the wire, did you have to buy that part to connect them or did it one of the cords come with it?

    Thanks for the help!

wow. I was just looking on the walmart site and those are like no more then 10w.

I think I might just go to radioshack and get the stuff from them.

    The standard expedition setup...
Those things bring us nothing but trouble on the ambulance. It's so tempting to blast the radio through it...or a phone ringtone that sounds like an ice cream truck.

hey i have the 50 watt max 100 watt from radioshack and it isnt much louder than my old 15 watt i think that this is because my cb only puts out 4 watts ... is there a way that i can make it louder ? like add a amp to it or something
