    you have to go to the dealer for the scoop "insert" which fills in the gap. it costed an extra 100 but was worth not having a awkward gap there.

    or u could go to a junkyard and search for parts.

    Check certifit.com. They stock the oem hoods with the scoop. They have lots of locations to pick it up at for about $100.

    Mines an 05, had that accident and the bed was replaced and painted. I cant tell at all that it was painted. A good shop can match it to the truck.

    Why add a scoop? It doesn't actually do anything. It's strictly for looks and takes away visibility down the front line of your hood when you are off-roading.
