    I ordered rock lights 16ft of cool white LEDs and connectors for 21 bucks on Amazon.
    and installed waterproof quick connectors for my lights on the roof rack.

    other than painting the rack that's all i can do, until i get my business up and running.

    Your truck has come a long way in..what..6 months? :confused: Thinks of this as a pause, taking a breath, looking up, stepping back. I'm sure in june you will be back at it.

    btw, I picked up one of those 5 meter rolls of white leds to do rock light with too. I have no clue how to use them. At moab I'd like to check out what you do with yours.

    No, I didn't realize until tonite that I needed them. I saw it menntioned in the other thread about the connectors but I wasnt sure which ones they were when I went to look at Amazon.

    I like your idea of cutting them into sections. Does that mean you have to have 2 wires for each segment running to the bat or a power distro box?

    No you can wire them in series one power and one ground for all of them.
    I plan on cutting them into 4' sections then making the connectors longer to wire it all up in series.

    Thanks. I'll order some. I actually got 2 rolls of led strips but was going to give one to Mark for the raisin (don't tell him, its a surprise) and wasn't counting on being able to do this install before moab. Running out of time. :goingcrazy:

    Besides, I really doubt I would wheel at night on purpose. Not a fan, but these would be nice to have in case of emergency. :eek:

    where do I find more information on the MOAB meet?? And could a stock pre runner do anything? Or no?

    I am going to kick myself again for getting a Prerunner... Kick... They had the exact truck I wanted at the dealer.. mag grey, long bed, TRD, etc... everything except 4x4 and I said sure I'll get it, I won't off road really... and here I am now.

    I do come very prepared when I go places though.

    I think theres a decent amount you could do at moab without armor and 4x4

    Could probably run parts of fins n things and hells revenge. I'm sure there are other trails too.

    im sure you coud find some 4 rated trails or under, but without 4x4 or any armor going with everyone else on the 6+ rated trails is going to be a tow strap and winch fest (hell its going to be a winch fest for us open diff guys).
