Someone mentioned on here that I believe it was the smittybuilt one's were N-fabs and were cheaper than if you bought them from N-fab.

I went with Nfab from above site. Avids is round step, so didnt want any issues getting in, epecially since some of my passengers wear heels :D. Even in rain with Nfab the flat surface and grip holes, still can become slippery if not stepped on right. I might get some grip tape/paint to touch it up. I've only had positive comments on my N-fabs too...

If you go Avid I would definitely add some grip to step. I've seen it done in here...here's a pic of my nfabs...

I have nfabs. would have went with Avid if they had the flat area to step on. since they aren't for my use I didn't want someone slipping or something.

Thanks for the feedback folks. I'm ordering a set of N-Fabs next week.

By-the-way...when I've not done business with a company in the past, especially over the Internet, I do a little test. If they have contact info on their site I'll often shoot them an email to 'test' their customer service. Even ask a few obvious questions they may have already posted in the FAQ. If I get a fairly prompt response with good information, nice reply etc., I'll likely do business with them. Sometimes I get nothing back or "its on our website." I won't do business with them.

The N-Fab folks (Lance) emailed right back and answered all of my questions. Seems they understand service and value a potential customer. Hence my willingness to do business with them and share a good experience with others.

If you must have the flat steps(slightly ugly IMO :) ) then N-fab..if you can do without flap steps..Avid steps and Line-x them. If you have people in heels getting in..I would say either would be very smart to step on..since they ain't that big lol

Why would you need solid bars? Unless horrible welding leaving an opening in the pipe..then line-x it and you won't have a single bit of metal showing at all. lol
