x2. My boss would give the smokers breaks and not the non-smokers, so I finally told her I was going to go stand outside for 10 minutes like they did, if that's the only way I got a break. I told her I'd buy a pack of cigarettes if she wanted me to, I'd stand there with one hanging out of my mouth if necessary but if they got a break, so did I. I started a trend. LOL

    Good luck on quitting, everyone!

Good for you Jen! Quitting smoking is something that I have struggled with for years. I always gave in after a few drinks...Then it became in anticipation of a few drinks. I all but quit drinking a few months ago and it has been much easier. The key is recognizing your triggers and avoiding or dealing with them.

    Keep up the good work.

After. Trying to quit several times and always starting again.... one day I just stopped cold turkey and Havnt smoked again. This was almost two years ago now, meeting Jasmine was my biggest motivation.

I feel you on the triggers topic but my big ones are eating a meal, waking up, before sleeping, driving, before work, after work. My 1st point of attack is to just stop buying packs. If I can get myself to do that I'm sure I can quit. That's how I did it in Korea, of course it helped that they didn't sell the smokes I like out there.

Thanks for all the support and sharing all your stories guys!!

I really recommend reading the book "THE EASY WAY TO QUIT SMOKING by Allen Karr.. Im Only about 50 pages in but it's makin me happy i quit and helping me to realize that I never really needed cigarettes and could have easiy quit years ago. If you are still smoking and have any desire to quit give it a chance, you don't have to quit before durning or even after readin it but you probably will!
