So I got one of these...

A friend is going to do the install for me in his spare time. Basically, I need to pull the complete front diff assembly and give it to him for about a week so when he has a free couple of hours he can put the ARB in it.

I'm thinking I can pull the diff out, remove the CV's and front drive shaft, maybe plug the vacuum line(not sure if that's even needed) and still drive my truck as usual. Any reason why I can't drive my truck like this? Am I forgetting anything?

    Thanks fellas.

Yes, in 4x4 truck CV's hold wheel bearing together. So if you pull them out wheel bearing will separate. You need to have at least piece of CV that sits inside the wheel hub to hold bearing together. Or... borrow pre-runner wheel hubs
