So I went up to Big Bear again to catch some fresh powder. :D
This morning (what I plowed through in the video above. :p)

Then this was about 45 minutes ago in my driveway. Super light hail that looked like snow! There was about a 1/4" of this stuff all over the road and driveway and all the cars. Pretty sick. :D

I see they don't have them for my model year. Not many places do. The only two ones I've found are ARB and Shrockworks...

Shrockworks takes roughly about 4-6 months to receive it after the order is placed FYI.

    Exactly. :p

Do they take your money up front too? Just curious. :p

If not, I can place an order now and have the money for it when it's ready in a few months. :p

As long as it's a plate bumper and not a tube bumper, and looks good, I suppose I'll consider all options. :)

If I'm not mistaken I believe it's either up front, or a deposit is placed. Either way cash is needed upon ordering.

The downside to having Eric do one is if he hasn't already he will need it for the weekend to do so.

Do you know what gear ratio you got? I think 2000 was the last year they had the rear E-locker with 4.30 gears in it. I am looking at picking up a 4runner as my daily driver and haven't found one with a locker and am just wondering how the 4.10 gears work with 32 or 33s.

I don't really like the Aluminess design on the Tacoma.

I could be a 4Runner guinea pig though if I had some say in design. ;)

It does just fine! A little sluggish going up hills, but that doesn't bother me. :D

I'll check him out one of these days.

Check out the OutdoorLogic front bumper. They just started making parts for the T4R and have very fast turnaround times on orders. I just sold my daily driver integra and am looking for a 96-00 T4R to replace it with.

    A few bolts are different.
IIRC Shrockworks did take my money up front. I certainly remember being hung out on the line for 5 months waiting on my sliders.

    I'll check it out.

Good luck on your search for a T4R! :D

 That doesn't make me feel good about going Shrockworks. It looks so good and it's so beefy though. :(
