Well after an overwhelming amount of work and issue solving I was able to get the runner done enough to drive it to parker for the 425. Truck needs a sway bar baaaaddddd. Deaver nailed it with the springs but they are suuuuper soft and combined with the soft front springs she just about wants to tip over with 5 people in truck. Didn't drive the truck to hard until Friday after contingency I wanted to just get some soft easy miles on it and do some check overs considering 7 different people helped put it together lol. After a few adjustments and bolt tightening I took it out for the first time and all I can say is wow. This is the first "street truck" I've ever driven with front and rear suspension. I feel like there are a lot of straight axle haters out there also but I also feel like the way this truck handles and drives could be a mind changer. Had a cool little loo played out and after a few runs I was able to really get a good feel for the truck and was able to drive it as fast as the old 3.slo would go. Doing about 45-50 over big whoops and long g outs she felt perfect no bucking, or swapping or weird handling front the front suspension. The ride was very stable In the dirt concise ring how it felt on the street, It was cool to set it into a cross rutted up corner and just feel the suspension really absorb all of it. Anyway we loaded up Saturday morning to head to mid way pit and as I pulled into Bouse the motor let a lower rod bearing go. Sorry if you were In the long line of trucks behind me I was just tring to get to a safe place to unload all the shit. I was able to get the truck started and limpt it back to main pit. Found another motor for $50 from the owner of lc I'm just gunna slap in there hope to get another year or two and then go hard on something with horse power. Any how here's some pics. Also our race car broke a cra crank at mile marker 129. Shity day but there was a lot of carnage out there this weekend.

Subbing to your build, saw your 4Runner in Instagram and its basically the direction I want to go with mine. Mine is an 85 with a 302 swap and after seeing the video you posted I had to see if you had a build up. Awesome build!

    Thanks guys!!

been busy with other things but keep forgetting to update this thread! got the 3.0 rebuilt and installed and have been beating the shit out this thing its very very fun to drive. messed with my bypasses a little and got the rearend dialed in pretty well. i also bought a new tow rig 05 1500 silverado with only 43.000 miles on it from a little old man. no major plans for it yet just did a simple spindle lift, methods and some 33's and a full stereo with backup camera. my girl friend drives it as her dd so that all it needs for now. but anyway i also started working on the hood that does not fit at all not sure yet what in going to do. also got the windows all tinted and murdred out! plan on getting my front drive shaft and ac working in the next couple weeks it sucks not having 4wd

That is a badass runner! You did a awesome job!

What tires are those? I know they're a Toyo MT, they seem narrow?

I actually been wanting to build a runner like this and have been eyeing his one. The guy just wants too much!

Slowly plucking away at the runner got all my fiberglass mounted, sealed off my shocks, tinted windows, did some suspension changes and built a new pitman arm. From the first time I drove it after all the work done till now it's two different trucks and there is still improvements to come.

Hey do you have a side view close up of the rear fiberglass? I'm planning on trimming my rear fender wells and just wanting to see how they flow.
