Welp, I guess I get to kick it on this thread for a min, just picked this fella up for an amazing price, plans are to fix a few things, and drive it while I throw gears and locker in my other hotrod, then put a sign in the window

Got some questions for the 4runner fellas. My wife is agreeing to let me put aftermarket wheels and tires on her 4runner. She has a white 2010 Limited 4runner 4x4. We want to keep 20's on it and put a decent all terrain on it. We are looking at the black XD Slides. My questions are....what tire size should I go with to keep from any kind of rubbing and what tires would be best?

275/55/20 should be good on the 5th Gen w/o a lift.

If you feel like reading a little, more info & pics here:

Thanks A HuL! I've been on there a lot as I sold my Tacoma (no room for 3 cars seats) and I'll be taking my wifes runner then gettin her a Honda pilot. It's as close to a van as you can get without being a van and still can seat 3 car seats across the 2nd row and 8 total.

hahaha not really, just some good photography...

When I got it, it was TRASHED, it had hit 2 elk and a deer, the lady smoked 2 packs a day INSIDE IT! Not kidding. the stupid push bumper was smashed so hard that it made the hood not able to open! so I hooked it up to a tree and pulled it back to check the oil and stuff.

So far the only mods I have done to it are... clean it.. put on some old 10 ply 235-85-16 tires from work and rip off the steps and front/rear sway bars to get more flex..

Here is another shot from the same day as the sunset. the ugly side.

and the day I got it..
