Does anyone know if there is wiring for running board lights under the 4runner?

so you have a limited? the running board come straight off with a few bolts and you can just disconnect the wires and ziptie them back up so you can reuse them later on if you want.

ive also seen some people use the same plug to run an LED strip all the way across so you still could see the door sill and what not

    Thanks,
I will have to look to see if I have any wires tucked up there so I can get some lighting. I currently have no lights on my running boards (ill most likely take them off they are useless) and I don't see any toyota markings on the boards so I have to see if they are even OEM.

I had a busy freaking weekend. Part of it was transforming my 1st gen from old man truck to something that fits my liking a bit better. Installed a used set of 285/75/R16.

Add a leaf should arrive this week. That way I don't have to be so crazy tucked in the rear. :D

Thanks! Yep, I'm the second owner

Went 245,000 miles with the original owner and then spun a main bearing while towing a trailer :( Got a new lease on life via a new long block courtesy of yours truly.

wow that looks really clean. Ive always loved the 80's model 4runners. my best friend in highschool had an 87 and that thing was a lot of fun.

I might try and talk the wife into letting me get this.
She got a new cat so that means I get something :D

Thanks. I've always loved them as well. I'm looking forward to getting the rear up in the air a bit more and possibly removing the rear bumper until I've got the funds for some sliders and front/rear tube bumpers.

I consider this truck a classic and will probably continue to wheel my FJ more than I wheel this. I find it a little sad when I see one of these older trucks hacked to death. I'll set it up to handle moderate stuff but it will continue to be my baby I think.

And you should definitely grab that white one. It looks really clean. And then you should sell me your interior so I can get rid of my "I love the 80's" red interior. :puke:
