atlas 3 or 4 is big money, so is a taco box, inch worm lefy is only good if you want to run driver side drop axles, but why would you? get an adaptor for 200 bucks, get a gear case for like 100, get a dual adaptor for like 300, and get another stock gear case for 100

If you're talking tons and an Atlas, just get some tube and build a buggy already. The idea of a 3rd gen on 40s is silly.

I just think there's better platforms for a build of that scale, that's all. The 3rd gen 4Runner/1st gen Taco is such an awesome platform as it sits, it seems a shame to put a completely different build under the body.

A good friend of mine has a 1st gen Taco on 35s with 2 inches of lift and a truly sweet tub job - elocker rear and arb front, and that truck goes everywhere he wants it to. I've got a lot of respect for a sweet build like that - anybody can build big. Give me a nice tight minimal build over an overblown monster on tons any day. :)

Oh I can agree with you there bud. My build is not to just go big but also to reshape some stuff. The way I am doing my build is not just axle ad slam it in there there will be a lot of body work going into it to make sure it sits how I want it. We are shooting for a 60/40 travel ratio which mean there will be some tubbing and serious clearance work. I have just ways wanted a SAC'd truck with 40s I like the platform it has now and I will wheel the crap out of it but I like the bigger rigs too. It isn't all about trail capable it is making it look good and like it was meant to be that way

i get kevin's point, its always more fun to have a sleeper rig, a rig that looks nothing special but wheels just as good as a over built one.

"This one time, Eric drove up to Chico from the Bay Area to help me bleed my brakes, and, I don't know what happened, we finally finished at 8am the next day. My brakes still didn't get bled."

Those rotors look white. That's sick. Too bad they don't stay that way for long.

Also you can pick up a self bleeder kit at autozone for cheap
