93 Forerunner speedometer intermittent

    Hello! I have a 93 Forerunner with an odd issue, the speedometer is intermittent. When it works, it's fine, but sometimes it doesn't work until I'm around 35 MPH. What would be the best troubleshooting method?

    Check the transmission for the cable to see if its loose.

    95 4runner
    Mine jumps around occasionally on my 95. I am wondering if it was something wrong in the dash maybe. But like was posted before, check the speedo cable at the trans. I know mine was loose at one point. But when its got a quarter of a million miles on the clock I tend not to complain too much about the stuff that has gone wrong on it. I am just happy the thing still works.
