Blacked out badges, weathertechs, painted grill, cut tailpipe, removed mud flaps, black head lights, red calipers, tinted tails, front and rear bilsteins are here along with fatbobs spacer and aal awaiting install, also a set of 16 inch pro comps are here and 265/75/16 dynapros
i have to agree, while bosmobs is awesome looking, that 2 inches in the back will make it look much bigger and meaner i think.

Well I prefer to be a little more "original" and I usually don't choose to do something just because everybody else chooses to. A Tacoma owner that doesn't follow trends:eek: OMG

I guess you could say I have an eclectic taste when it comes to vehicles.;)

Thought about lifting it but decided against it. I think it looks fine the way it is. Besides, it will look like the tires aren't big enough if I lift it now.

Not saying its stupid. Just kinda pointless from my standpoint. If your going to lift a truck up then obviously you want extra suspension for the entire truck? A truck is built to haul and load stuff. So if you just lift the front your weight is more shifted to the back and when you put a load in the back it will sag even more. Just saying I guess its a cool "style" but all in all your just doing half the job of a suspension mod which seems pointless.

Thats just my two cents. Take it with a grain of salt.

I get what you're saying but my truck ain't going to haul much stuff with the 2.7L under the hood. Plus lifting the truck has nothing to do with being able to carry more stuff. My truck was as capable as can be in the suspension department when it was stock.

Everybody lifts their truck for asthetic reasons.

Unless you're installing helper springs, airbags that kind of stuff, then you aren't increasing your trucks capabilites. And if you lift the front and rear together... that's a sign that you're lifting purely for looks.

(The wheels and tires are for asthetics too;)) But hey, at least I didn't get a DCSB cause it "looks better". The 6ft. bed does just fine.

Here is my 5 lug so far. It's a 2009 with a 2011 grille, sport smoked headlights, painted bumpers/handles/mirrors, debadged, 5% tint, replaced the black stereo, center dash bezel, and climate controls with oem silver pieces, rubber cup holder inserts, oem rubber floor mats, and modified the bench seat to recline back. I've kept everything factory on the entire truck and all the maintenance is perfect. I plan on getting bilsteins all the way around and a ready lift kit. Haven't decided on wheels and tires yet, I keep changing my mind...

Do you feel a stiffer ride? I have the daystar coil spacers but I'm debating on whether or not to install them? I just hear nothing but bad things about coil spacers...I think I'm just going to go with the spindle lift

strut spacers are definitely different than spring spacers. my truck rides awesome in the front man. if you want i can give you a ride in it one of these days and you be the judge

How much additional lift did you get with the spacers? did you get the full spacer lift?
