Not familiar with 5-lugs, but if your calipers are the same only a 16+ will clear.

Relativity of scale! While the DC next to you is a nice rig - I would never use it to it's potential, and it's way beyond budget, for initial purchase and operational costs. If you got the budget, time and motivation to do the DC .. all the power to you. I don't.

With what you have now, you are just a proper bumper away from a mad-max budget road-burner.

Sorry to hear that. How long have you owned it? I gather from join date of 2011?

Are you in a part of Ontario where 4x4 is a necessity, or is a realistic heat-free off-road option to do so?

For my part, this is my 30th year driving.. I've had my Tacoma for the longest of any vehicle that i've owned in past. Not owned a 4x4 .. but have had larger vehicles than this. I can't afford to be bored with it for another 2 years, anyway!

I snowmobile, so having 4x4 to get to the cottage is almost a must. I pull a trailer the odd time and my 2nd 2.7 doesn't pull the greatest. I'd feel much safer in something with 4x. I'd like to go offroading but not the best truck to do it with considering my buddies have to pull me out 90 percent of the time. I

@Reddeviltaco2011 how well did those rims fit? Any mods needed? I have always loved these rims! Your truck looks really good! How's power loss with the 31's?

I see you already have the fat bobs garage lift, so all you would need is to do the black box removal. It's pretty simple literally took me 5 minutes. As far as power loss. I really didn't notice any. And I did notice the truck handles better way better than before.

I saw this 5 lug online. Already has a standard lift, but it also has a 3 inch body lift on it. Didn't know we can add more height on top of the fatbobs/readylift

Not sure if i would personally go this route - it appears to limit you to the OEM bumper setup .. which body clips the bumper cover to the body. The Aftermarket bumpers mount to the frame with considerable additional supports.

What about things like transmission tunnels - shift lever lengths, gas filler tubes, and other connections and linkages between the body, and the frame?

A cosmetic 'lift', at best. IMHO, anyway.
