hey shriber did you lift your truck any .if you did not i sure would like to see a nice side shot.i test drove a 2012 access today and wondered if justt the tire change would be enough to give it a better look.i really do not want to alter the suspension mostly because do not want to get a stiffer ride.thanks

No I didn't lift it at all, just upgraded the tires. It really makes it look a lot better. It gives it a little height gain(about an inch) and makes the overal stance of the truck a lot better. I posted a pic of the side before and after.

Wow! Yes. Just changing the tires made the truck look great. Even the rims look better.

wow big difference. If the previous owner hadnt just purchased new tires before I bought my truck I would be getting some 235's tomorrow. Been thinking about a lift but might just say screw it and just get bigger tires now when these go bad.

any pictures from anyone with 235's with the fat bobs to compare with the op's picture. wonder just how much different they look.

and as for the odo being off, who cares if its under , at least it wont be over.

i like it with just the tire change scrider.thanks for letting me see side pic.test drove a 12 ,just waitng to see if my f150 sells out right before i trade.either getting a pyrite mica access or the dark gray.silly to put new tires on right away but its what i want and i am not considering a pre runner because of more stiffer ride.only thing about 12 is back console is now open box, no lid.strange.

225/70/16 Tires came with the wheels. Feels like a better ride and plenty of clearance.

I went with 235-70-15s and found there is a minor loss of power but the extra control in the wind or when trailering is worth it. Much, much less push and it is more stable, too.

is anyone running wider rims and/or tires on their STOCK 5 lug? i need to get an idea of what i can run. on the fronts especially. i know a 9.5" rims with +20 ish offset fit on the front, but do you think you can go wider than that?

im talking like at least a 9.5"-10.5" wide tire or like 265mm+ (idk how you offroad guys measure stuff lmao)

Your pics make me ashamed to drive stock size. Costco fails for not allowing me to purchase michelin ltx 235/75r15. I think I am going to have to get the wranglers like yours (minus the white walls).

    That was stock?

whenever I mud and my tires flex to much they will rub the wheel well. Im in the middle of maybe getting like a 2 inch body lift to fix that though.

I was considering a body lift for my truck just to get some extra clearance, but ive heard so many bad things about them. Have you ever had a truck with a bodylift before?
