Last night tried my girlfriend rims on my Tacoma and they look great, too bad I couldn’t keep them. sorry for the pictures it was at night and took them with my I phone.

They are 18" with 235\60\R18 from a Mazda CX7 and they are street wheels not off-road but I think I can fit a 17" with some decent tires so I'll Keep you posted. I drove it around and they performed with no robbing.

I found myself in quite a dilemma:

I want all terrain tires for my truck, but also some nice wheels but it seems that they don't go together. There is little selection in 15" or 16" rims it gets better with 17" Rims but then I can't find a good All Terrain tire with 17" diameter. I really don't do affording but like the look of All Terrain wheels. Can anybody help?

This are some 17" rims I found that I like

Nice wheel choice, you could have checked Indy Performance in Rio Piedras too, they have some new wheel models similar to those from 15" to 16". You might be able to find Kumhos Road Ventures or Revos also Yokohama Geolanders in that size locally, I know yokohama has a distributor in Ponce and a lot of the tire shops have kumhos.

from the lame 205/70/R15 to the better 235/65/17 it is good to see all that space fill with tire.

The down side of going with bigger tires.

With the original 215/75/15 I have a solid 20 MPG on city with heavy traffic
With the new 235/65/17 I have a solid 17 MPG on city With Heavy traffic

I recently acquire this truck and haven't do any tune up. So I'll do some to see if I can get back to the 20 MPG.

1. New Spark Plugs
2. Oil Change the guy that have it took it to the dealer so They most use the worst must cheep i will go with Mobile One extended performance full sintec and the corresponding oil filter
3. K&N Drop in Air filter
4. Remove Charcoal filter from the air box
5. Remove the thing on the fender where the air comes in

I hope to see some increase with this will let you know how it went as soon as I'm done.

Well I did the tune up but Now is 17.5 MPG so it didn't make that much diference. I wil try using 91 octane insted of 89 to see if that make any diference and bacause I'm Noticing some Nocking sound with 89.
