Newer 5 lug Tundra wheels fit 5 lug taco?

I was just curious . . . do the tundras have the same bolt pattern?

 

No, the tundras are 5 on 150, and 5 lug tacomas are 5 on 114.3.

Yeah the tundras just from looking have a huge bolt pattern in comparison. Why did they got back to 5 lug with the new tundra?

 

I believe they went to a thicker diameter lug stud after going from 6 to 5 on the Tundra

 

According to myboltpattern.com the Tundra wheels are now compatible with the 100-series and 200-series Land Cruiser. Makes sense given the Tundra's weight gain over the prev. generation.

Center Bore (mm): 110
Stud_Size: 14x1.5

The 5-lug Taco is compatible with many Mazda wheels, including the RX-8's.

 

Yea, I just liked the thought of the bigger steel wheel of the same style with some slightly thinner tires. Or even the other style wheels they put on the tundra. BUT they won't fit so . . eff that.

How about wheels off of a toyota highlander? Would any of those look decent?

 

Yep highlander wheels have the bolt pattern as the 5 lug tacomas.

 

Yea, I sort of figured they did. None of them seem like they would look good on anything but a lowered truck though.

 

Be careful, according to MyBoltPattern.Com, while the bolt patterns are the same, the Highlander wheels have a 60.1 mm center bore, while the 5-lug Taco is 67.1 mm.

 

Yeah that would probably cause issues... My new wheels have a much bigger center bore than stock but i bet if you went smaller they wouldn't fit over the hub.
