On the cab side of the fender well there's a small black box bolted in underneath a bit of the fender well that needs to be removed to fit larger Tires. The "black box" is completely empty and serves no real purpose. There are several threads on here about it and its removal.

*EDIT - just noticed you have a trd sport so you don't have to worry about the black box or modifying it. This only applies to 2wd 5lug tacos

Ah I see. That's weird that it has nothing in it.
    Thank you for clarifying!

Here's my 5 lugger. I've been on here for a long while now but just saw this thread. Lol. I have on 33x10s on the stock steels. Custom made armor and functioning e locker axle.

Also a 2.75 spacer lift up front, nothing in the rear, and sway bar delete.

Update. Installed the spacers today. Got the wheels flush. Not too much. Just enough. IMO.

Nah I'm not better than u guys lol. So far I love it, rides nice, super quiet inside and they upgraded alot of stuff on the base model. I got heated mirrors, power mirrors, steering wheel controls. And they put a 3 leaf instead of a 2 leaf on the back! And the 4 cylinder runs like a champ like always!

Nice. How thick are your spacers?

Hey guys quick question, if I was to upsize to 30x9.5, would the power loss be equivalent between an access cab and a double cab or will it be more noticeable on the double cab? Sorry new here hehe.

Didn't really notice much power loss with mine. However. I only had my truck 6 days before I put the big tires on.

Could you be so kind as to link a PN?

This is the style of wheel I'm after. I want to add a trim ring and center cap, sort of old skool hot rod style.

I would prefer no spacers, so wondering if they have something with different offsets.

You mention a 45 offset. Is that the OE steel wheel size? I've not been able to find that dimension posted, and have been too lazy to pull off a wheel and measure.
