What do you guys think about this lift combo?

I found these parts on Ebay, they are a lot cheaper than a fat bobs or readylift. What are your guys takes on this lift. Do you think it will work or not work? Is it not advantageous to go this route?

Total cost - $146.13
Total lift size - 3 inches in the front, 2 inches in the rear

It'll work...but spacer lifts are generally frowned upon on here. They wear out suspension parts and ride very rough.

I'd say look into other coil or spindle lifts

 

From what I understand spacer lift is really the only way to go if you have a 5 lug, am I wrong? I plan on putting bilstien 5100 adjustable all the way around as well. Would that help the suspension wearing out, since they are better quality.

 

the 5100's would not help with the suspension wear. have you looked into spindles?

 

I would be interested in spindles if that was the best way to go. I will do a little more research. I don't want to put a poor lift on my truck but since i thought that all I could do i wanted to do it as cheaply as possible.

 

Holy crap 1300 for spindle's that is crazy.. How much wear are we talking here with these spacers. Will the bilstien's at least improve the ride? I might just go with the adjustable bilsteins if the spacers are really that bad for the truck.

The place that I've seen that sell adjustable bilstien 5100 say "Lift products will not fit models with 5 lug wheels"

 

5100s will not fit a 5 lug Tacoma. Spacer and aal is the most used option for a 5 lug Tacoma but the catch is needing longer rear struts as well as the front. The fat bobs kit includes the longer rear struts needed so may be a better deal in the end, unless you get a good deal and buy them seperatly.

 

Look in the 5 lug product thread there is alot of products in there as far as shocks,struts, lifts go. Over all imo a spacer is a spacer where ever you get it and the $230 fatbobs is the best deal over all

 

There are no spindle lifts available for the 5lug tacos 2nd gen

 

or EBAY !. the price seems great just remember!! if you do this yer self to first. remove that 1/2" off the long stud on the top of the strut making sure the nut is already on the stud!!!!! install strut extension`s to factory specs & torque . cause if ya don`t well!!!!..​
