235 85 16s

Any experience with these on your 5 lug? Will they fit with the fat bobs with minimal triming? I think they are similar to a 265 75 16 just more narrow if im not mistaken. Im ordering my fat bobs kit in one week, trying to figure out my wheel set up. Also need a course on wheel spacers will it be a bad choice over all to use some with the rim of my choice

 

I installed P235 75 R15's on mine 1.5" spacers in the front... not even close to a rubbing issue. The 85's will be wider than mine, but you should be fine with the Fat Bobs kit, if I'm not mistaken the 2nd Generations have slightly larger wheel weels than the 1st generations

 

they should be slightly taller than the 265's but about an inch or so narrower. should bit wit the fat bobs depending on your wheel too of course. id look at wheels with an offset to avoid the wheel spacers

 

Im kinda debating on these now, i looked at them in person. Very tall for being so narrow. kinda worry about control on the road

 

id get 265s personally. my dad has them on his tundra and he hauls ass through turns and they bite pretty good

 

Though different, I have 235/85r16 duratrac's on my '06 4x4. It still handles great on the road, totally rocks in snow. They are only available in 10ply (rated) though, which I don't mind. YMMV.

And, yes, they are just a hair taller than a 265/75r16, but just over one inch narrower.
