    Looking at 05 and up 5lug truck.Can someone tell me about manual or auto transmissions,what you perfer and why.thanks

    Total Chaos Mid Travel, Sway away coilovers,31x10.50x15 goodyear wrangler authority's
    Manual tranny! fun to drive, if you plan on putting larger tires on your truck manual trannys are a bit more torqy. I think the auto's are gutless

    Sirius, Bugflector,back-rack, stepsides.
    Manual transmission!! Shifting never gets old for me and I can drive it like I stole it if the need arises. Also manual 5 speed gets slightly better Mpg's compared to the 4 speed automatic. The 5 lug truly is the meat an potatoes no frills workhorse regardless of transmission.

    Thanks picked up 2005 sr5 manual tranny.Very happy with the truck last toyota truck was a 1985.thanks for the help

    were it the v6 I would tell you auto, I4, definitely the manny!!
