Lift Kit

This has been posted a million times in almost every sub form...which is why I'm having such difficulty. I'm absolutely mind boggled by how much info there is about lift kits. So much technicality with it from what it seems. So, my question is. I have a 4banger 5 lug 2wd access cab that I want to lift. I currently have 235/75r/15 goodyear wranglers that are not even a year old, so I'd like to keep those for a bit. What would be the best possible lift for me right now in time. I've been doing some research and looking at stuff on ebay and what not, and can't seem to find a lift that will make a bigger difference in truck height. Does anybody have any suggestions that are not only cost efficient, but will also make the truck look like it's been lifted?

 

Inexpensive:
ReadyLift or Fatbobs spacer/AAL lift.

Expensive:
UCAs
Coilovers.

 

Just purchased my fatbobs lift kit with rear shocks for 278 taxes in and shipping! Now all I need to do is fine 4 wheel spacers approx 1.5". Anyone know who makes such a thing for 5luggers?

 

I might be wrong but I don't think you need wheel spacers. I think the spacers he was talking about are the front strut spacers in the fat bob's kit.

Unless you are looking specifically for wheel spacers and in the case never mind what I just said.

 

Haha Yeah I am looking for wheel spacers, I want to have my tires sticking out a bit.

So I found a set of spacers. My question now is, are these going to fit? 5x4.5 to 5x4.5?

 

Alright, I got my lift kit earlier today, and proceeded to install it. Ran into more problems then I ever imagined. Passenger side UCA bolts WILL NOT COME OUT. Impact gun only takes it so far and it stops. So I'm thinking about cutting those bolts, and punching them through, and picking up 2 new ones. Secondly. Installed the drivers side lift, but because issues with the passenger, I had to drive it home with a gangster lean. Problem with that though, I'm not sure if it's because its ridiculously uneven or if its a problem, but has anyone had an issue with their springs hitting the UCA when going over any sort of bump in the road? I hear an obnoxiously loud squeaking noise when driving over the smallest bumps. I didn't think it would be this big of an issue. Oh, doesn't help that fatbob decided to ship me the kit with a 6lug instruction sheet wtf?

 

Am i supposed to have a gap in this leaf pack? My.bottom leaf spring seems to be able to mobe side to side a little bit. The leaf pack bolt, is that supposed to be inside that hole on the rear axle? Im guessong to hide the head of thr bolt?
