pics of your current ubolts? mine went untouched for a long time and i busted them loose with a 1/2 rachet. sounds like your guy wants to do it the easy way and cut them off. the kit your looking at will work but the rear will sit really high. you only get about 3/4 with the front spacers. i did spacers and 3 inch spindles first and my truck sat dead nuts level with a 1.5 aal out back. unless you put new springs up front

Hitch and wiring, aux back-up light, rear strobe lights, radio and underseat sub.
Search for a local spring shop. Those and some HD truck shops offer custom bent ubolts. All you need is spring width, legnth, diameter, and type of bend(square or round).
Measure fron the inside of the ubolt.

Toytec sells u bolts for you're truck. It's always good to replace you're ubolts any time you do anything with the rear and the leaf springs they do tend to stretch, so it's a good safety measure to replace them.

I don't think he wants to cut them off because he would have told me if he was going to. The problem I have is the only auto parts stores within 30 miles of me hardly sell wipers that would go on my truck let alone suspension U-bolts.

My truck needs all the lift it can get. I'm running 31's on a stock 2004 2WD no lift.
