My mom recently bought a 2013 5 Lug and she wanted to bump up her wheel/tire combo, purely for aethestic reasons. This is a commuter pickup and is driven approximately 50 miles a day; all pavement. She has seen me hack and mod my pickup for the last few years and is absolutely against any such modifications. The 5 Lug and wheel/tire sections have been extremly helpful, and for the final vote of confidence, I was hoping to get some of the stock suspension 5 lug guys and gals to sign off on my mom's wheel/tire combo. Thanks in advance for your time.

Is she set on 16" wheels? I just put on some 225/75-15, which are actually slightly larger diameter than 235/65-16, and happy so far. Still running through first tank of gas, so don't know my mileage yet, if that's a concern for her commute.

I wanted her to stick with a 15" wheel for cost, but she thought her rims looked like a donut spare, and I told her that a different wheel would change that. Anyways, she wants 16" wheels and it looks like it will be up to me to sell her stockers. Hopefully she gets a few bucks from LS for the takeoffs, they have less than 1000 miles on them.
