Well, today I went in to discount tire hoping to walk out with some rims and tires. I was surprised on the lack of rims that were available for my 5 lug.
I came into the issue of the tires sticking out past the fenders. Guess I need to research it a little bit more. By the way,I was looking at 16in rims.

I think that no matter what your tires will stick out a bit if you try to go to a bigger tire, that's just a given

I had a set of american racing 16x8 wheels on my 5 lug. Offset was +30 and the tires were flush with the fenders. Took a lot of searching for me to find them. I have some pics in my profile.

What kind of look are you going for? In both off-road and street applications, tires sticking outside of the fenders slightly is considered pretty.

There have been a few 5 lug owners that added fender flares too. Personally i would only go with fender flares on a 5 lug if it's lifted, but to each their own.
