I use Sea Foam if it's running rough and needs a major cleaning. Otherwise, Lucas FI cleaner every 10K as regular maintenance.

I really like Redline SI-1

Its got the highest concentrations of P.E.A., which is what the injectors actually get cleaned by.

Everything else, has proven to be mineral oil and alcohols. techron, seafoam, ect no longer have a decent percentage of P.E.A.

BITOG is a great place to look into this.

That you for this information. I did a search for it online and it's apparently available at O'Reilly Auto Parts. I'm going to try that out.

I also recommend BG 44k! I'm a tech and this stuff is great. BG also makes a fuel treatment to run ever 5-6k to help fight all the extra ethanol being added to gas. Don't remember the number

I did some reading on BITOG. Thanks for the mention. I've been using Seafoam up until now. People on there seem to speak highly of both SI-1 and BG 44k. It didn't look as though anyone has anything bad to say about either. I got a couple of bottles of SI-1 because it's readily available locally and cost less.

Im not 5 lug but i use Greased lightning. Its a once a year or every 12,000 mile treatment and i immediately see a difference in mileage after use. I have suggested it to numerous people over the years and they all see a difference in mpg.

I put the SI-1 in another vehicle first. It gets bad mileage and needs a lot more gas. It's been running rough lately. The RPMs at idle would jump all over the place. After about 1/4 a tank it's a lot smoother. I've used Seafoam in the tank many times before now. We'll see how it goes over time. Right now I'm impressed.

Edit: I had to fill my other vehicle up again this weekend, and SI-1 has really helped a lot of issues at idle and low throttle. I needed to get to an important meeting on Saturday I was running late for, and it ran smooth at higher speeds. I have to fill up my Tacoma tomorrow, and I'm putting the other bottle of SI-1 in it. Thanks for mentioning BITOG too. Lot's of good info there.

Edit 2: It works better in a Tacoma. It jumps to 5500 RPM if I floor it now.
