Another Lift Kit Question...

I know that there are a lot of threads about 5-lug suspension lift kits, but still i have to ask. I live in Puerto Rico and shipping costs are a huge deal here, since everything has to be shipped overseas. It's been narrowed to these:

- The famous fatbob's

Which one is better for my 5-Lug. I already installed 30in tires and the rub whenever i turn. I will try some wheel spacers in the mean time but I will still need the Lift Kit.

Any help will be much appreciated.

They are all pretty much the same... Spacer kits with AAL's.

I guess research them and find who uses the best products then make a judgment off that. That way you know your getting a decent product that will last.

 

I just put on the Doetsch 5 inch spindle lift kit on and I love it. I just put a 4crawler body lift on as well. Good luck on your decision you will love the look you get.

 

I just installed a ready lift 3 inch kit on my X-Runner and couldn't be happier, I fit 31's with mild rubbing on max turn but that will take care of itself with time

So after almost a year I took the courage and bought the ready lift. It was a pretty easy install, except for the part where they tell you to rotate the strut 120 degrees, but don't show you how. We ended up installing the spacer, place it in the socket and then adjusting the strut in it's place. But besides that, it went pretty well.

Now, the truck looks sick, but I ride for looks, the suspension is a little stiff due to the fact that I kept the stock struts. I'm thinking of changing them soon, but for now I'' be sticking with the stock ones.

I also read that spacers and aal is not the best way to go, but there's not much of a choice for us 5-luggers. It seems that we have been left behind in the suspension mods.

Honestly, i have the cheap random lift. Works fine and looks great. Im running 31 BFGs with rubbing at full turn (on sway bar).

Your truck looks great man. I have a ReadyLift also. But i agree, the 2nd gen 5-lug doesn't have a whole lot of options are far as lifting goes. Actually I got them when I bought her in 2008. They're originally came with the Sienna. They look nice, but ever since I lifted it, I'm noticing that the 0 offset in them isn't looking that great on her. I'm looking to buy some craggars or just add some spacers to make her look like she has more stance.

I'm getting something around 18/20 mpg's. That's because i usually drive in the city.

BTW , yeah it's a SHE, I call her my ginger girl.

 

I'm saving up for the UCA's and coilovers. I've been told that they ride is a completely different thing. I'll let you guys know if I decide to buy them.
