But as you mentioned Scott....their beach isn't the best. Most of it is dunes with a lot of brush washing up. And at high tide, some areas have no beach at all.

I am in for the mountains. Since I live at the beach my vacations are spent in the mountains.
Nantahalla, Murphy, Franklin area is nice and not too busy, or across the mountain to Gatlinburg area if you are looking for entertainment.

Me and a buddy in Franklin/Nantahalla area. Great time.

I will go back there every year and can recommend it if you are trying to get away from the busy life.

Yeah, the normal guy who is out there was with me and telling me about it today. I got a feeling it will end up being just like Cherokee, just another tourist attraction. Is it going to be another Harrahs? I heard they may put one out in between Morganton and Hickory. I may come up your way one weekend to visit the place. I have always wanted to go out there and just see it. Wanna meet up if I do?

You work near Main St? I tried looking for your truck but didn't see it. We went to Perkins pub or something like that from Waffle King.
