Looking good so far. As far as a tool box goes, you could look into a uws low pro or a kobalt, but to be honest, I would just cruise CL for a tool box.

Oh, man thank you so much for the link. I sent him a message cause we are both in Northern VA. I am just looking for a little tool box to hold all the stuff behind the front seat. Thanks though!

No problem. This toolbox would probably be best for you then. I would have bought it, but I already have a cap.

Looks good man! I have the same truck (mines 2008) and went the same route you're heading. Fender flares look great. Any plans on re-gearing once you bump up in size?

Thanks! I saw your build with the 31's also. Would you recommend re-gearing??

I was looking at either the Fat Bob's 2.75 inch lift or the Ready Lift 2.75 inch.

Custom front bumper and rock sliders, glasspack muffler, shorten exhuast, abs killswitch, roof light bar, rear e locker.
Armor up and put on the 31s. Honestly the 31s fill up the gap way better. It's like they are meant for our 5 lugs.

Do wheel spacers make the wheels stick out to the side more? If so, what size would you recommend?

Looks good so far, interested to see what else you find to do to your Tacoma. Working on getting mine lifted and 31's on it. Still a work in progress as I would guess yours is.

yeah. I'd recommend SpiderTrax wheel spacers or Bora wheel spacers in 1.25"or 1.5"

just make sure they are hubcentric not lugcentric.

You can get by without it, but it makes a huge difference. I'm around 21MPG with the 31 inch heavy ass grabbers. If you can find a stock 4.10 3rd member off of another NON TRD 6lug tacoma, it bolts right on. I did it in a few hours with a buddy in his driveway. Got a good price from another TW member. Like I said, it's not life or death by any means, but it makes a big difference.

It took me 5 months just to find a "not white taco" in CA. I bought mine at HB Toyota, by the way(just moved from 20th St.)... The white tacos are mainly bare bones fleet trucks bought in bulk, by service companies. Should only be about 10,000 of them around.
This build is giving me hope for my truck. Thanks Sleazy for the build thread, looking good!
