All RC trucks are long bed?

    I see folks claiming the RC trucks are short bed. But aren't all the RC trucks equipped with the 6ft bed? The 5 ft bed is considered the short bed, so wouldn't the 6 ft bed (which is standard equipment on the RC trucks) be the long bed?

    I can't recall ever seeing a RC with a 5ft bed.

    I've never heard anybody with a RC say they have a SB.What is your source?

    On the full-size trucks, there is an 8-ft bed option often offered with regular cab models. That's often called "long bed". The same folks may label the 6-ft bed "short bed".

    A regular cab with 5-ft bed would have poor towing capacity when rated by US standards, due to the extra-short wheelbase being susceptible to trailer sway.
