I am very used to driving overly stiff sports cars, but I can't help thinking that the suspension on my RC base 2wd is very soft. The truck is all stock with 55k miles.

Do the mid level and higher end Tacomas have a stiffer suspension? Oh, just to be clear, I am not complaining as I love my plain jane truck as is. I am more curious than anything.

    Thanks

I cant speak for 6lug Tacomas, but I've got the FatBob's lift on my 5lug Tacoma and the ride is definitely more stiff than stock.

The way the 5 lug and 6 lug trucks mount the rear axle is different. The 5 lug seems to be softer but still carries a good load. The 6 lug actually has less payload capacity because of the extra weight of its suspension.
