Shocks for 3" lift?

Hey guys i just got my 3" lift kit ordered for my 97 5lug and I wanted to know if the OEM size shocks will suffice or if ill need to get longer shocks. If i do need to get longer ones can anyone recommend any brands or models in particular. Thanks, all help is appreciated

 

Also I was wondering if all AAl were universal on 1st ten tacomas or if it is required that we get ones specified for the 5 lug

 

I have a 99 5 lug mini and I did 3" spindle in front, and 2" shackles in back and kept the oem shocks. It works fine. The ride seems rough, but I don't know if lifting it has anything to do with it because I bought it and lifted it before really driving it around. But for highway and light off road, it'l be fine.
