^ looks good :) my mileage hasn't been stellar- about 19 mpg from Bozeman to Billings (150 miles) interstate at 80 mph, at Billings I gassed up and immediately hit a bad head wind, the next 150 I got about 15 mpg

if the wind would cooperate and I slowed down maybe 5 mph, should be able to hit 20 me thinks????

Great idea/look for the trd center caps. Anyone know for sure if the TRD center caps part no. PT904-35070CC shown on new guys sport will fit on 2012 TRD DCSB OffRoad which has the 16, not 17 in. tires? I really like the look and want something simple to set off my truck but don't want to order unless they fit. Thanks for help, mcdee.

w/ the OR 16" 'ers you have to trim the interior of the center caps a bit- there is a good thread floating around where several folks have done that, basically you just match up the length to the oe ones and trim appropriately (most use a cutoff wheel/dremel)- if I can find the thread I'll link it

installed a TRD exhaust- you can see the smaller diameter muffler, what is tougher to see is the larger diameter exhaust of the TRD 2.5" vs 2.25"

    shiny :D

cut down the rear mudflaps as well, just cut a straight line w/ tin snips, then used the lower portion as a guide to get the curved portion the same

    finished

Nice job on the flaps, i have been considering the same with mine. Have you gotten any stone damage in the front end since you took your flaps off??

no stone damage (yet anyways), but after a recent rain you can see a little more "splash" on the sides- so they were doing what they were designed to do- if it starts getting problematic, I might put them back and just trim them like I did w/ the rears

^ thanks- now that I'm actually looking, seeing a fair number of Tacomas in travels about the state :)
